Hi everyone,
回覆刪除This is Teacher Chelsie! I am very excited to be teaching Banana class! The first few weeks have really flown by!
We have been working on our first two themes of the year, getting to know each other and classroom basics! The kids have been expanding their vocabulary to tell meow about themselves and the classroom around them.
There is always plenty of fun to be had with Louie, Andy, and Rabbit!! We play games that are relevant to the new vocabulary words, such as sight bingo and slap the board.
In our phonic class, we have worked on our writing of the letters as well as their sounds. The kids are so good at pronouncing them, we are making things more challenging by using only pictures to jog their memories in order for them to tell Teacher Chelsie the correct letter they begin with and the sound it makes. For example, elephant - starts with E and makes the 'eh' sound.
I can't wait to see what else this year brings!
